The Governor’s Academy

Established in 1763, The Governor’s Academy is recognized as the oldest boarding school in America. Located in Byfield, Massachusetts, the Academy’s 400-acre campus sits adjacent to the salt marshes of the Atlantic Ocean. Today, more than two centuries after its founding, The Governor’s Academy continues its tradition of innovation through inventive, inspired programs and provides students in grades 9 to 12 with the tools they need to become citizen leaders of the world.
