Special Highlights
The Limelight. Arts as an extra-curricular activity can often be devalued when the only feedback an artist receives is a letter grade; an artist needs feedback. In contrast, Pomfret is home to a multitude of talented individuals whose work often goes unnoticed to the community. The Limelight presents an opportunity for passionate artists to share their work anywhere and by effect creating a community that can more readily appreciate creative expression at Pomfret School.
Community Service. The Community Service program is also the locus of the Service Council. This leadership group is comprised of five students and three faculty members who meet weekly to discuss and implement service initiatives to the entire Pomfret School Community. The group is responsible for bringing awareness of social issues and community service so that everyone can get involved.
