Maur Hill – Mount Academy (MH-MA) is a Catholic, college preparatory school educating young men and women in the Benedictine tradition of prayer, work, and love of learning. Benedictine education embraces the spirit of community, and it most certainly holds true here. The hallmark of MH-MA is the safe, positive, structured environment providing each and every student the support and opportunity to reach their goals and inspire their growth and development academically, socially, physically, and spiritually.

The spirit that is alive at MH-MA is one that goes back to Maur Hill Prep, founded by Benedictine monks in 1919, and Mount St. Scholastica Academy, founded by Benedictine sisters in 1863. Today’s Maur Hill – Mount Academy is a Catholic Prep boarding school that is rooted in the Benedictine tradition. It has produced numerous alumni who have become extremely successful in just about every walk of life. Our alumni include CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies, doctors, lawyers, priests, religious, TV producers, teachers, coaches and more. Many alumni will reference the discipline, work ethic, academic rigor, faith, and community they experienced here at MH-MA as a main reason for their success.

 Academics

MH-MA provides a well-rounded curriculum offering grade-level requirements and numerous electives. Electives are made available so that students may pursue areas of study in which they have a personal interest. Students striving to complete the Regents Curriculum will have specific courses that are required beyond those required for graduation.
