Haverford College

Haverford College is a private liberal arts college that is located in Haverford, Pennsylvania, eight miles from Philadelphia, which provides a wealth of historical, cultural, and social resources. It is a member of the Tri-College Consortium, which includes Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore colleges, as well as the Quaker Consortium, which includes the University of Pennsylvania. Social and academic life is governed by an honor code and influenced by Quaker philosophy. Its 216-acre campus has predominantly stone Quaker Colonial Revival architecture and is situated in an affluent suburban neighborhood, adjacent to the Haverford School, the Merion Golf Club, and the Merion Cricket Club, one of the oldest country clubs in the US.
