Founded in 1893, George School offers a broad curriculum including AP, ESL, and the International Baccalaureate Program. World renowned, the IB diploma is a rigorous two-year course of study. A year-long course in fine or performing arts is required of all students each year. Quaker values such as tolerance, equality, and social justice create a diverse community where academics, sports, arts, and service learning share emphasis. George School’s campus is 240 acres of open lawns and beautiful woods, located in Newtown, less than an hour from Philadelphia.
