University of California, Los Angeles is a public institution that was founded in 1919. Its 419-acre campus is located in LA’s Westwood neighborhood, five miles from the Pacific Ocean in Southern California. Undergraduates conduct research as early as their freshman year, with more than half of UCLA students graduating with research experience in the humanities, social sciences, and STEM disciplines. Outside the classroom, UCLA offers more than 1,000 student organizations, including media groups, and more than 65 Greek chapters. A busy walkway known as the Bruin Walk connects the residence halls to the heart of campus. UCLA guarantees students housing for three years.
Academics
UCLA encompasses the College of Letters and Sciences and a number of graduate schools and programs, including the highly ranked Anderson School of Management, Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science, School of Law, and David Geffen School of Medicine. UCLA also has a prestigious School of Theater, Film and Television, and School of Dentistry. The Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center is one of the top-ranked hospitals in the country. The student-faculty ratio at UCLA is 19:1, and the school has 49% of its classes with fewer than 20 students. Popular majors include Economics, Sociology, and Political Science and Government.

The Harold and Pauline Price Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation offers a wide range of resources to support the academic and professional development of entrepreneurial leaders. Our research initiatives advance the theory and practice of entrepreneurship and innovation, while our course offerings, experiential learning activities and non-degree certificate programs prepare MBA students, undergraduates and working professionals to study, launch and manage growing ventures that will change the way we learn, work and live.
