Colleges Babson College
Babson College is a private institution that was founded in 1919. Located in suburban Wellesley, Massachusetts, this close-knit New England school is known as one of the nation’s top ranked small business colleges. Babson’s 370-acre campus is alive with intellectual, cultural, athletic, and social activities. 28% of undergraduates are international students. Every day, Babson students are learning to address real-world business and societal problems to create sustainable economic and social value in today’s fast-paced global economy. Our Greater Boston location means students have the best of both worlds: a beautiful, residential campus with access to all of the cultural and recreational opportunities a large city offers.
Babson offers a strong business curriculum with a liberal arts foundation. Students benefit from taking at least half their courses in the liberal arts to ensure a balanced education that integrates liberal arts and management. The transformative experience of the first year is the award-winning Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship, a year-long course in which students create, start, and operate their own business or organization. The student-faculty ratio at Babson is 11:1. Popular majors include Economics, Entrepreneurship Studies, Finance, Management Sciences & Quantitative Methods, and Marketing Management.
