Riverstone International School is a private independent school located in Boise, Idaho serving Treasure Valley and international students in a safe, friendly, nurturing community. Students are enrolled in grades preschool through twelve. Riverstone is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School that enrolls day students in preschool through grade 12 and residential students in grades 9 through 12. At Riverstone, students cultivate a diverse world-view and appreciation for the world’s peoples and cultures via academic endeavors and personal experiences. Through classrooms, in-home exchange programs and international travel experiences, students form an international understanding that will give them the ability to engage and contribute to our global society. All students are eligible to participate in our outdoor education program.

Academics

As Idaho’s first International Baccalaureate authorized institution, Riverstone offers the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme. The school is one of only four IB boarding schools in the US offering the full continuum of the IB programmes. Special Highlights

River Camps Advisory Program. “River Camps” is the name of Riverstone’s advisory program in which we give students opportunities to form bonds with students in grades 6 through 12 in an atmosphere of tradition and competition. Each advisory group is designated with the name of an Idaho river and has approximately 10 to 12 members from various grades with two teachers as advisors. Typically, students will remain members of the same advisory group during their years at Riverstone.

Summer Residential Program. Riverstone’s Summer Residential Program is designed for students looking for a unique residential summer experience in the United States’ beautiful Pacific Northwest region. If you are ages 13-17, our summer program will provide you with opportunities learn, explore, and play at Idaho’s #1 private school!
