Our Presentation Skills course is meant to help young adults and adult professionals become proficient public speakers. When students learn these important skills during childhood, they can avoid pitfalls later in life and become strong communicators. They’ll have the ability to make friends and have a positive influence on others. Students are often asked to make speeches or presentations in front of their classmates and teacher. Employees are often required to lead meetings or group discussions. Speaking in front of people may be quite difficult. Those of us predisposed to shyness might struggle to speak with anyone at all.
Authentic Instruction
Our Presentation Skills training will unravel the mystery for learning the “art” of communication and giving the perfect presentation! It’s important to understand the value of and develop the ability for learning good communication skills first, and then how these skills allow us to present ourselves and “perform” to the best of our abilities. For kids, this may include giving a book report in class or engaging in debate competitions; for adults, this may include on-boarding new office staff or contributing to discussions in the board room.
We will explore many proven methods for effective communication as a precursor toward learning and excelling in public speaking. Students will explore the fundamentals that are involved in a step-by-step approach to gaining comfort and confidence in their speaking ability on the way toward creating impactful presentations that will impress their audience. This course will introduce students to common mistakes and how to correct them, how to produce their content, how to deliver their message, and interact with their listeners for full effect.

Our teaching method removes the risk of rejection when students speak in front of their peers. Our series of lessons build upon one another and create a positive foundation, leading to confidence and continued progress. This foundation will help students take the initiative rather than lie back and wait. They will become go-getters that won’t get left behind!
At any stage of life, whenever we repeat an action or a skill, our brain creates neural connections that form a pathway over time. Similar to how a path is formed when repeatedly walked upon, the skills we build through practice and repetition are embedded into our brains. These pathways help define our skill-set foundation as children and can be redeveloped and strengthened during our later years through additional learned experiences as adults.
Comprehensive and Customizable
Our Presentation Skills course is typically scheduled in 1.5 hour sessions, but can be flexible based on student’s needs and instructor’s schedule. The complete program includes eight sessions and thus approximately 12 to 16 hours total. Our course may extend further depending on number of total students in class, and their ability to complete coursework, homework, and practice outside of class. Beyond that, the amount of recommended training is based on instructor’s assessment of student’s progress and availability of student.
