Roger Williams University is a private liberal arts university in Bristol, Rhode Island. Founded in 1956, it was named for theologian and Rhode Island cofounder Roger Williams. Its setting is suburban, and the campus size is 140 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar.

RWU overlooks Mount Hope Bay in Bristol, Rhode Island, is a short trip from Providence, Boston and New York. The university requires freshmen and sophomores to live on campus. Students at Roger Williams have the opportunity to join more than 80 clubs and organizations, including the Campus Entertainment Network, which plans and programs events on campus.

Exploratory student resources include: Bloomberg Businessweek self-assessment exercises, which have been developed by the most talented business faculty in the world, and a first-year course, Enterprise, that covers multiple business challenges. It even allows you to develop a plan to launch your own business.

The School of Justice Studies is dedicated to preparing students to successfully meet the challenges facing modern justice system. Through courses taught by academic experts and experienced practitioners, students acquire in-depth views of today’s justice system. Outside the classroom, students gain invaluable hands-on experience through internships, applied research, and training.
