瓦萨学院

瓦萨学院是一所位于纽约州波基普西市的私立文科学院，由马修•瓦萨于1861年创立。作为美国历史上第二所授予女性学位的高等教育机构，瓦萨学院于1969年开始实行男女同校教育。学院提供超过五十个专业的文学学士学位。瓦萨学院是历史悠久的“七姐妹学院”之一。瓦萨学院校园占地超过1000英亩，拥有100多栋建筑，建筑风格多样，涵盖从学院哥特式到国际式的多种风格。位于校园中心的主楼是美国第二帝国建筑风格的最佳范例之一。瓦萨学院校园被指定为植物园，拥有超过200种树木、一个本地植物保护区以及一个占地530英亩的生态保护区。瓦萨学院天文台与主楼同为校园内的国家历史地标。
