马萨诸塞大学阿默斯特分校

马萨诸塞大学阿默斯特分校是马萨诸塞大学系统中规模最大的院校，也是历史最悠久的一所，其起源可追溯到1863年，当时名为马萨诸塞农业学院。学生可参与约240个校园社团，居住在生活学习型宿舍，并参与社区服务、实习和教师科研项目。马萨诸塞大学阿默斯特分校也是五校联盟的成员之一，该联盟还包括史密斯学院、曼荷莲学院、汉普郡学院和阿默斯特学院，这些院校之间可免费乘坐公交车往返。学生可以在这些院校当中的任何一所上课，并参加所有课外和文化活动。其图书馆系统馆藏资源超过610万件，在新英格兰地区规模居首。校园内拥有众多由世界著名建筑师设计的风格独特的建筑。
