You can connect with leadership and service initiatives, engage with student organizations, advance your learning and create lasting memories. For students looking to get involved, this is a great place to start. For students who are already involved, this is your home away from home—utilize services and supplies from the Resource Room, book a meeting space for your leadership team, or catch up with friends in the lounge.

Research Experiences for Undergraduates. The Mathematical Biosciences Institute (MBI) administers a multi-institution summer research program in the mathematical biosciences each year. REU participants work on projects in areas such as molecular evolution, neuronal oscillatory patterning, cancer genetics, epidemics and vaccination strategies, and animal movement. Participants work individually or in pairs under the guidance of expert mentors to make specific research contributions in these areas, often leading to a peer-reviewed publication and conference presentations.

Student Reviews…

“I really enjoy life at OSU. It’s a big campus, but don’t be intimidated by the size. There are so many ways to be involved and people to interact with. The location is right in the middle of downtown Columbus. The atmosphere is welcoming and everyone is proud to be a buckeye.”
